HAJAR

Hajar is a book I designed for my father, who has had a lifelong passion for collecting rocks. Since he was young, he’s been fascinated by the textures, colors, and stories that each stone carries. Over the years, he not only collected rocks but gave each one a unique name and carefully recorded his thoughts and notes about them.

I gathered his handwritten notes and photographs and transformed them into a carefully crafted book—a visual and emotional archive of his collection. Every page honors a rock and the story behind it, preserving the memories tied to each piece.
